Our Business
Our Business

people, purpose, performance.

One of the most fundamental ways we’re building a better world is through a sustainable business that provides security to our team members and creates long-term value for all of our stakeholders. That’s what drives our fervent commitment to a dynamic business model built to withstand market and economic fluctuations.

Since our beginning in 1885 as a small midwestern-USA-based pasteurizer and bottle washer business, privately-owned Barry-Wehmiller has grown into a global supplier of manufacturing technology and services serving a diverse platform of industries: packaging, paper converting, sheeting, corrugating, engineering and IT consulting. Our robust acquisition strategy, launched in 1987, has brought more than 80 additional businesses into our family. Today, Barry-Wehmiller’s ten separate operating companies are a blend of the rich legacies and capabilities of those businesses, offering meaningful work to 11,000+ team members around the world. Through our continued commitment to a shared vision, unrelenting dedication to outstanding products and services, and ardent attention to the people who make our business possible, Barry-Wehmiller has become a thriving $2.4 billion and growing global industry leader.

Through our business model we have transformed a struggling 100-year-old company into a vibrant global organization committed to creating long-term value for all of our stakeholders.
